Gruff Rhys & Boom Bip‘s first new track together as Neon Neon in over three years… DOWNLOAD FULL MP3 / PRE-ORDER VINYL HERE The duo’s previously unheard song, Wheels, was written during sessions for Stainless Style – their Mercury shortlisted concept album inspired by the life of automobile impresario John DeLorean – this track concerns “Johnny Carson’s involvement as one of the financiers of the Delorean Motor Company”. Catch Boom Bip playing live this evening at LA’s The Satellite. This the second of a three part residency at the club, featuring different guests for every event. Last week saw Money Mark (Beastie Boys) support alongside ESP and WIM.
Also making a special appearance tonight are Eric Avery (Jane’s Addiction), Josh Klinghoffer (Red Hot Chili Peppers) ,The Useless Keys and Muzz.
Josh features on the tracks New Order, Tum Tum and Goodbye Lovers Feat. Alex Kapranos on Zig Zaj.
